Abstract

본 발명은 텔레비젼 수상기의 주화면 채널 절환시 부화면 채널 자동 절환방법에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 텔레비젼 수상기의 PIP 기능을 이용하여 두 채널의 방송신호를 시청하는 중에 주화면의 채널과 부화면의 채널이 일치하는 경우 한 채널의 방송신호를 주화면과 부화면으로 출력함으로 PIP 역할을 수행하지 못하면서 부화면이 주화면을 가려 주화면에 디스플레이되는 영상을 시청하기 어렵다는 결점을 가지고 있었다. 본 발명은 PIP 기능을 갖는 텔레비젼 수상기를 이용하여 두 채널의 방송신호를 주화면과 부화면으로 출력하는 중에 주화면으로 출력되는 채널 절환을 위한 키가 입력되어 주화면의 채널과 부화면의 채널이 일치하면 절환된 채널의 영상신호를 주화면으로 출력하고 절환되기 이전에 주화면으로 출력되던 영상신호를 부화면으로 출력하여 탐색하고자 하는 채널의 영상신호를 주화면으로 보면서 기존에 주화면으로 시청하던 방송신호를 부화면으로 계속해서 시청할 수 있도록 된 텔레비젼 수상기의 주화면 채널 절환시 부화면 채널 자동 절환방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a method of automatically switching a sub picture channel when a main picture channel of a television receiver is switched.
