Abstract

인터넷 월드 와이드 웹(WWW) 네트워크(320)을 사용하여, WWW 클라이언트(310)은 음성 처리 응용을 제어하는 소프트웨어의 재구성을 요구하거나 또는 이 소프트웨어를 발생시키기 위해 WWW 서버(330)과 통신할 수 있다. 음성 응답 시스템 클라이언트는 음성 응답 시스템의 구성을 변화시키거나 또는 음성 응용 프로그램이 발생되도록 인에이블하는 상기 음성 응답 시스템 상에서의 소프트웨어 실행을 제어하기 위해 음성 응답 시스템 서버와 통신할 수 있다. 로컬 터미널의 비쥬얼 디스플레이 유닛 상에서 보통 디스플레이 하기로 되어 있는 음성 응답 시스템의 출력은 음성 응답 시스템 서버로 지향된다. 음성 응답 시스템 서버는 데이터를 음성 응답 시스템 클라이언트로 전달한다. 음성 응답 시스템 클라이언트는 상기 음성 응답 시스템으로부터 수신된 제2포맷의 데이터로부터 상기 WWW 클라이언트 터미널이 사용 가능한 제1포맷의 데이터를 발생시키고 WWW 클라이언트 터미널로부터 수신된 상기 제1포맷의 데이터로부터 상기 음성 응답 시스템이 사용 가능한 상기 제2포맷의 데이터를 발생시킨다. 즉 음성 응답 시스템 클라이먼트는 WWW 클라이언트 터미널로 전송하고 그 다음에 디스플레이하기 위해 음성 응답 시스템에 의해 발생된 데이터로부터 HTML데이타를 동적으로 발생시키고 및 그 역 작동을 이룬다.

Claims (5)

  1. 인터넷 월드 와이드 웹(World Wide Web, WWW)(320)을 경유하여 클라이언트-서버 시스템에 액세스하기 위해 배치된 WWW 클라이언트 터미널(310) 및 음성 응답 시스템 서버(370)을 구비한 음성 응답 시스템(380)사이의 인터페이스를 이루기 위한 클라이언트-서버 시스템에 있어서, 상기 음성 응답 시스템(380)으로부터 수신된 제2포맷의 데이터로부터 상기 WWW클라이언트 터미널(310)이 사용 가능한 제1포맷의 데이타를 발생하고 상기 WWW 클라이언트 터미널(310)으로부터 수신된 상기 제1포맷의 데이터로부터 상기 음성 응답 시스템(380)이 사용 가능한 상기 제2포맷의 데이터를 발생하기 위한 발생 수단(350)을 포함하는 클라이언트-서버 시스템.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 발생 수단(350)은 상기 WWW 클라이언트 터미널(310)으로부터 기원하는 상기 제1포맷의 데이타에 응답하여, 상기 음성 응답 시스템(380)에 의해 사용되는 데이터로 변형시키기 위해 상기 응답 시스템(380)이 사용하기 위한 상기 제2포맷의 변형용 데이터를 발생하기 위해 배치된 클라이언트-서버 시스템.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 발생 수단(350)은 상기 WWW 클라이언트 터미널(310)으로부터 기원하는 상기 제1포맷의 데이터에 응답하여, 상기 음성 응답 시스템(310)의 작동에 영향을 끼칠 수 있는 응용을 발생시키기 위해 상기 음성 응답 시스템(380)이 사용하기 위한 상기 제2포맷의 데이터를 발생하기 위해 배치된 클라이언트-서버 시스템.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 발생 수단(350)은 WWW 클라이언트 터미널로부터 기원하는 데이터에 응답하여, 상기 발생된 응용에 대한 기초로서 사용될 현재 응용을 식별하기 위한 수단을 더 포함하는 클라이언트-서버 시스템.
  5. 임의의 선행 청구항에서 청구된 클라이언트-서버 시스템에 접속되고 상기 클라이언트-서버 시스템과 데이터를 교환할 수 있는 음성 응답 시스템 서버(370)을 구비한 음성 응답 시스템을 포함하는 시스템.
