Abstract

본 발명은 액정 패널의 수직 화소수에 비해 비디오 신호의 수직 화소수가 적으면 상기 액정 패널의 위 여백과 아래 여백에 상기 비디오 신호와 항상 일정한 전압차를 가지는 비교 전압을 인가하여 상기 위 여백과 아래 여백이 흑색으로 표시되도록 하는 액정 표시 장치의 흑처리 방법 및 장치를 제공하여, 사용자가 현재 표시되는 화면에 용이하게 집중 할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 액정 패널의 수직 화소수와 비디오 신호의 수직 화소수가 일치하면 상기 액정 패널의 전 화면에 일정한 전압을 가지는 비교 전압을 인가하고, 액정 패널의 수직 화소수에 비해 비디오 신호의 수직 화소수가 적으면 상기 액정 패널의 위 여백과 아래 여백에 상기 비디오 신호와 항상 일정한 전압차를 가지는 비교 전압을 인가하여 상기 위 여백과 아래 여백이 흑색으로 표시되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 흑처리 방법.
  2. 일정한 전압을 가지는 제1비교 전압과, 액정 패널의 수직 화소수와 비디오 신호의 수직 화소수가 일치하면 일정한 전압을 가지고 액정 패널의 수직 화소수에 비해 비디오 신호의 수직 화소수가 적으면 상기 비디오 신호와 항상 일정한 전압차를 가지는 제2비교 전압을 출력하는 비교 전압 발생회로와; 액정 패널의 수직 화소수와 비디오 신호의 수직 화소수가 일치하면 액정 패널의 전 화면이 순차적으로 구동하도록 하고, 액정 패널의 수직 화소수에 비해 비디오 신호의 수직 화소수가 적으면 상기 액정 패널의 위 여백, 화면 표시 구간 및 아래 여백이 각각 순차적으로 구동하도록 제어하는 스캐닝 구동회로로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 표시 장치의 흑처리 회로.
