Abstract
본 발명의 엔진의 배기가스를 배출할 수 있도록 하는 배기매니폴드에 관한 것으로, 종래구조는 각 실린더로부터 배출된 가스가 여러개의 파이프와 플랜지를 거치게 되므로 배기가스의 누출우려가 많았고, 배기계에서 중요한 배압을 상승시키게 되는 문제가 있었던 바, 배기매니폴드를 모듈화하여 플랜지와 접합부위를 감소시키고 배기계의 신뢰성과 내구성을 확보할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 본 발명에 의하면 배기계의 설계 레이아웃상에 많은 잇점을 얻을 수 있게 될 뿐 아니라 제작비용의 절감을 도모할 수 있게 된다.

- 엔진(1)의 하부에 다수의 배기관(2)으로, 이루어진 배기매니폴드를 설치함에 있어서, 각 배기관(2)를 모듈화하여 플랜지 및 용접부위를 감소시켜 배기계의 신뢰성과 내구성을 확보할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 모듈식 배기매니폴드구조.
