Abstract
본 발명은 자동차의 양측 하부에 마련되는 실사이드(sill side)의 보강구조에 관한 것으로, 종래구조는 외측 실사이드(1’)와 보강판(3’)의 사이에 공간부가 형성되는 관계로 자동차의 측면충돌시에 차체의 변형이 많게 되고, 그에 따라 승객의 피해가 심하게 되는 문제가 있었던 바, 외측 실사이드(1)와 보강판(3)의 사이에 스티프너(4)를 설치한 것을 특징으로 하는 본 발명에 의하면 자동차의 측면충돌시에 기존의 보강판(3)은 물론 그 전방의 스티프너(4)를 통해 충격을 흡수할 수 있게 되므로 외측 실사이드(1)의 변형을 최대한 억제하여 차내의 승객의 안정성을 크게 향상시킬 수 있게 된다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
