본 발명은 후판 열간 압연에서의 선단부 휨정도 측정장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 후판의 영상을 정확하게 검출하고, 후판의 열간 압연시 후판의 곡률을 자동으로 측정하기 위하여, 압연기로부터 소정거리 떨어져 후판의 영상을 검출하는 영상 카메라수단과, 상기 영상 카메라수단으로부터 영상신호를 받아 디지탈 데이타로 변환하는 영상 회득수단과, 상기 영상 획득수단으로부터 영상 데이타를 받아 저장하는 버퍼 메모리수단과, 상기 영상 획득 수단으로 부터 영상 데이타를 받아 윤곽선 검출기로 윤곽을 검출하여BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
