Abstract

턴테이블에 안착된 디스크의 편심을 보정하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브에 관한 내용이 개시되어 있다. 턴테이블 위에 안착된 디스크를 턴테이블의 회전 중심으로부터 소정 거리 이동시킬 수 있도록 턴테이블에 센터링을 설치하고 이 센터링을 편심보정부를 이용하여 적절이 이동시킬 수 있도록 하였다. 그 결과 디스크의 편심을 정밀하게 보정할 수 있어, 픽업이 하나의 정보 트랙에서 다른 정보 트랙으로 옮겨 정보를 기록하거나 재생할 때 트랙 추적 시간을 대폭 단축시켰다.

Claims (8)

  1. 베이스프레임에 설치된 스핀들모터의 축에 연결되어 회전되는 턴테이블과, 상기 턴테이블에 안착되어 회전되는 디스크와, 상기 디스크를 상기 턴테이블에 밀착시키는 클램프와, 상기 디스크를 턴테이블의 회전 중심으로부터 소정거리 이동되도록 상기 턴테이블에 설치된 디스크이동부와, 상기 턴테이블에 설치되어 상기 디스크를 턴테이블 위에 밀착시킨 클램프를 상승시키는 상승부재와, 상기 베이스프레임에 설치되어 상기 상승부재를 상승시키고 상기 디스크이동부를 소정 거리 이동시키는 편심보정부를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 디스크이동부는 상기 턴테이블에 반경 방향으로 다수개의 형성된 구멍과, 상기 구멍을 각각 통과하여 설치되어 상기 턴테이블에 안착되는 디스크의 센터홀이 삽입되는 다수의 돌기부와, 상기 돌기부가 고정되며 상기 턴테이블의 하측에서 턴테이블의 회전 중심으로부터 소정 거리 이동 가능하게 설치된 센터링과, 상기 돌기부와 상기 턴테이블 사이에 설치되어 상기 돌기부 및 센터링이 턴테이블로부터 이탈하지않고 턴테이블의 회전 중심으로부터 소정 거리 이동 가능하게 하는 링을 구비하여 상기 편심보정부에 의하여 소정거리 이동되는 것을 특징으로 하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 상승부재는 센터링 및 돌기부의 내측에서 승강 가능하게 설치된 클램프밀대를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 클램프밀대는 상기 구멍에 삽입된 돌기부의 내측에서 상기 구멍을 통하여 설치되는 밀대와, 상기 밀대를 상기 턴테이블 하측에서 지지하는 밀대링을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 돌기부의 내측에 각각 형성된 제1턱과, 상기 밀대에 각각 형성된 제2턱을 구비하여 상기 제2턱이 상기 제1턱에 위에서 아래로 걸려 상기 밀대링이 상기 베이스프레임으로부터 소정 높이 분리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브.
  6. 제2항 내지 제5항 중 한 항에 있어서, 상기 제1턱 위의 상기 돌기부 내측에 형성된 제3턱과, 상기 제3턱에 안착되는 자석을 구비하여 상기 클램프를 함께 상기 디스크를 상기 턴테이블 위체 밀착시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브.
  7. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 편심보정부는 상기 디스크 이동부를 왕복운동 가능하게 상기 베이스프레임에 설치된 이동대와, 상기 이동부의 일단에 형성되어 상기 승강부재와 접촉하는 경사진 경사면과, 상기 이동대에 형성되어 상기 센터링과 접촉하는 돌출부와, 상기 이동대를 소정거리 이동시키는 이동수단을 구비하여 이동수단에 의하여 이동되는 이동대가 상기 승강부재를 싱승시키고 상기 센터링을 소정거리 미는 것을 특징으로 하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 이동수단은 상기 이동대의 측면에 형성된 제1랙과, 상기 제1랙과 맞물린 제1퍼니언과, 상기 제1피니언을 회전시키는 제1모터를 구비하는 것읕 특징으로 하는 편심보정장치를 갖는 디스크 드라이브.
