Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
물체 모양정보 부호화 방법
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
종래의 물체 모양정보 부호화에서 물체가 존재하는 모든 매크로블럭에 대해 동일한 하나의 가변길이 부호 테이블을 적용하여 부호화할때 발생하는 데이터 감축율 및 부호화 이득의 저하 문제를 해결하고자 한 것임.
3. 발명이 해결방법의 요지
한 프레임의 영상이 분할된 각 매크로블럭내의 단위블럭에 물체가 선택적으로 존재하는 경우 물체가 존재하는 단위블럭갯수에 따라 서로 다른 가변길이 부호 테이블을 적용하여 물체 모양정보를 부호화하는 것을 특징으로하는 것이다.

물체 모양정보를 부호화하는데 적용되는 것임.

Description

물체 모양정보 부호화 방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 MPEG-I, MPEG-2, H, 261, H, 263등 기존의 표준에서 사용하는 1개의 메크로블럭내에 4개의 블록(Yl, Y2, Y3, Y4)이 존재하는 것을 보인도,
제2도는 H.263에서 사용하는 코드 블록패턴에 대한 가변길이 부호화도표,
제3도는 본발명이 적용되는 물체 모양정보 부호화 시스템 블록 구성도,
제4도는 도3의 하나의 부호화기의 상세 구성도,
제5도의 (가)는 영상을 매크로 블록 단위로 분할한 도면이고,
(나)는 임의의 물체를 매크로블럭 단위로 분할한 예시도.
제6도는 도3에서 매크로블럭내에 물체가 존재하는 블록을 표시한 도면,
제7도는 매크로블럭 내에 3개의 블록에 물체가 존재하는 경우에 제안하는 가변 길이 부호화도표(variable length code table),
제8도는 매크로블럭 내에 2개의 블록에 물체가 존재하는 경우에 제안하는 가변 길이 부호화도표(variable length code table),
제10도는 일반적인 프레임 그리드 설명도,
도11A 내지 도11F는 일반적인 모양 적응형 DCT변환 설명도.

Claims (5)

  1. 임의의 모양정보를 지닌 물체 모양정보를 부호화하는 방법에 있어서 한 프레임이 영상이 분할된 각 매크로블럭내의 단위블럭에 물체가 선택적으로 존재하는 경우 물체가 존재하는 단위블럭 갯수에 따라 서로 다른 가변길이 부호 테이블을 적용하여 물체 모양정보를 부호화하는 것올 특징으로하는 물체 모양정보 부호화방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 매크로블럭의 분할은 상기 각 매크로블럭을 4개의 정방형 단위블럭으로 분할하는 것을 특징으로 하는 물체 중심 부호화방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단위블럭내의 물체 존재 유무를 검출한 결과 하나의 매크로블럭내에 3개의 단위블럭에만 물체가 존재할 경우에는 하기표와 같은 가변길이 부호 테이블을 적용하여 물체를 부호화하는 것을 특징으로하는 물체 중심 부호화방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단위블럭내의 물체 존재 유무를 검출한 결과 하나의 매크로블럭내에 2개의 단위블럭에만 물체가 존재할 경우에는 하기표와 같은 가변길이 부호 테이블을 적용하여 물체를 부호화하는 것올 특징으로하는 물체 중심 부호화방법.
