고농도의 암모니아성 질소와 유기물을 함유한 폐수를 처리함에 있어서, 호기성반응조(2)에 분말 활성탄소를 투입하고 PH 농도를 유지하기 위하여 황산으로 pH 7.0∼7.5로 조정하며, 탈질반응을 위한 교반기가 설치된 혐기성반응조를 통해 탈질 하도록 한다. 바람직하게는, 각 반응조의 반응 온도를 18∼25℃로 유지하고, 혐기성 반응조 내의 교반기는 10∼15rpm의 속도로 교반하여 침전을 방지토록 한다.In treating wastewater containing high concentration of ammonia nitrogen and organic matter, powder activated carbon is introduced into the aerobic reactor (2) and adjusted to pH 7.0-7.5 with sulfuric acid to maintain the pH concentration.
