Abstract

본 발명의 영상부호기는 프레임 메모리(20); 감산기(22); 이산여현 변환기(DCT:23); PTS 벡터양자화기(24); 역양자화기(IPTS VQ:25); 역이산여현 변환기(IDCT:16); 가산기(27); 적어도 2개 이상의 움직임 보상부(28-1,28-2,28-3); 상관도 계산부(21); 상기 상관도 계산부(21)의 출력에 따라 상기 다수개의 움직임 보상부의 출력중 하나를 선택하는 움직임보상 선택부(29)로 구성되어 영상을 부호화한다.

Claims (2)

  1. 영상신호를 프레임단위로 저장하고 있는 프레임 메모리(20); 상기 프레임 메모리(20)의 현재 프레임과 움직임 보상된 이전 프레임과의 차영상을 출력하는 감산기(22); 상기 감산기(22)의 출력을 입력받아 이산여현 변환하는 이산여현 변환기(23); 상기 이산여현 변화기(23)의 출력을 PTS벡터 양자화하는 PTS벡터양자화기(24); 상기 PTS 벡터 양자화기(24)의 출력을 역양자화하는 역양자화기(25); 상기 역양자화기(25)의 출력을 입력받아 역이산여현 변환하는 역이산여현 변환기(26); 상기 역이산여현 변환된 이전 프레임의 데이타와 움직임 보상된 영상을 가산하는 가산기(27); 상기 가산기(27)의 출력을 입력받아 서로 다른 가중치를 주어 현재 프레임의 영상과 이전 프레임의 영상을 비교하여 움직임 벡터를 추정한 후, 이에 따라 움직임 보상된 영상을 출력하는 적어도 2개 이상의 움직임 보상부(28-1,28-2,28-3); 상기 프레임 메모리(10)로부터 소정의 이전 프레임과의 상관관계를 산출하는 상관도 계산부(21); 및 상기 상관도 계산부(21)의 출력에 따라 상기 다수개의 움직임 보상부의 출력중 하나를 선택하는 움직임보상 선택부(29)로 구성되는 영상 부호기
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 움직임보상 선택부(29)는 멀티플랙서로 구현되는 것을 특징으로 하는 영상 부호기
