Abstract

본 발명은 계층구조의 상호 연결망을 위한 경로제어장치 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 종래기술에서 상호 연결망의 스위치에 경로선택을 위한 별도의 정보를 설정해야 하고, 경로계산을 각 스위치에서 수행해야 하기 때문에 발생되는 복잡한 스위치를 사용해야 하는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 많은 수의 노드들이 상호 연결망에 연결되어 있을 때 송신노드가 데이타를 보내고, 지정된 수신노드가 그 데이타를 받기 위하여 연결망의 경로를 선택함으로써 스위치가 간단해질 수 있는 것이다.

제 3 도는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 경로 제어방법을 나타낸 흐름도

Claims (3)

  1. 상호 연결망에 복수개의 노드를 서로 연결하고 노드와 노드 사이의 데이타 전송을 위하여 상호 연결망을 엑세스하는데 있어서, 복수개의 노드중 어느 하나의 다른 노드로 송신할 데이타를 준비하는 데이타 송신수단과, 입력되는 수신노드번호를 받아 경로선택정보를 출력하는 경로선택정보 발생수단과, 상기 데이타 송신수단에서 준비된 데이타와 상기 경로선택정보 발생수단으로 부터 발생된 경로선택정보를 혼합하여 노드의 출력포트를 통해 상호 연결망의 해당 스위치에 전송하는 혼합수단을 포함하여 구성된 노드와; 상기 노드의 혼합수단을 통한 경로선택정보에서 자신을 위한 부분을 제외한 나머지 부분을 지정된 번호의 출력포트로 보내는 복수개의 스위치를 포함하여 구성된 상호 연결망으로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 계층구조의 상호 연결망을 위한 경로제어장치.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 경로선택정보 발생수단은 상기 수신노드번호와 자신의 노드번호를 소정 비트 단위로 비교하는 복수개의 비교부(211)와, 상기 복수개의 비교부(211)를 통한 비교결과에 따라 경로에 위치한 스위치들의 수를 계산하고, 각 스위치를 위한 출력포트번호들을 발생하는 스위치 포트 번호 발생부(214)로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 계층구조의 상호 연결망을 위한 경로제어장치.
  3. 송신노드번호와 수신노드번호를 비교하는 제 1 과정과, 상기 제 1 과정 수행 후 송신노드번호와 수신노드번호의 상위 비트의 동일여부를 비교검사하는 제 2 과정과, 상기 제 2 과정 수행에 의한 비교결과에 따라 수신노드까지의 경로에 위치한 스위치의 수를 계산하는 제 3 과정과, 상기 제 3 과정에서 계산된 스위치의 수에 상응하게 각각의 스위치를 위하여 출력포트를 지정하기 위한 경로선택정보를 발생하는 제3과정으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 계층구조의 상호 연결망을 위한 경로제어방법.
