Abstract

1. 청구 범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
본 발명은 바이메탈을 이용한 하드디스크 드라이브의 액츄에티어 래치장치에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
본 발명은 전력소비를 줄이면서 파킹 존에서의 안정된 파킹을 이루도록 하는 래치장치를 제공하는데 있다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
본 발명은 통상의 래치장치에 있어서, 팽창률이 서로 다른 금속을 덧붙인 바이메탈의 특성을 이용하여 래칭한다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
본 발명은 모터의 역기전력을 이용한 바이메탈 래치장치를 사용함으로서 전력소비를 줄일 수 있게 되었고, 또한 종래의 자력변화로 인한 불확실한 래칭동작과 같은 여건이 해소됨에 따라 제품의 신뢰성이 향상되는 잇점이 있다.

Claims (3)

  1. 바이메탈을 이용한 하드디스크 드라이브의 액츄에이터 래치장치에 있어서, 상의 미디어로부터 벗어나지 못하도록 하기 위한 리브(11)를 형성하고, 상기 액츄에이터(10)의 파킹존에서의 구동을 제한하는 래치장치(14)는 베이스의 일측에 전원 연결되어 고정되는 바이메탈(15)과, 일측에 상기 리브(11)를 잡아주기 위한 캣칭홈(16)을 이루며 타측은 상기 바이메탈(15)의 자유단에 부착되는 래치(17)로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 바이메탈을 이용한 액츄에이터 래치장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 바이메탈(15)은 전류를 인가하면 부착된 상기 래치(17)의 캣칭홈(16)부가 들려지게 팽창하도록 형성함을 특징으로 하는 바이메탈을 이용한 액츄에이터 래치장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 래치(17)는 선단에 캣칭홈(16)을 이루고 후단은 상기 바이메탈(15)에 고정시키기 위한 부착면을 이루는 몰드물로 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 바이메탈을 이용한 액츄에이터 래치장치.
