Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야, 본 발명은 하드디스크 드라이브의 헤드 장치에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제, 하드디스크 드라이브의 헤드 장치에 있어, 헤드의 두 부상면에 두 개의 갭을 형성하여 탐색 속도를 향상시키는 하드디스크 드라이브를 제공하는 데 있다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지, 본 발명은 통상의 하드디스크 드라이브의 헤드 장치에 있어, 입.출력되는 정보의 전기적, 자성적 신호를 기록 매체인 디스크와 주고 받기 위한 갭을 두 부상면에 설치한 후 엑츄에이터 구동 모터의 제어와 연계시켜 헤드 진행방향쪽의 갭이 작동되도록 설치한다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도, 하드디스크 드라이브의 헤드 장치에 있어 두 개의 갭이 형성되어 갭 사이의 거리만큼 헤드가 덜 진행하게 됨으로 탐색 속도를 향상시키는 효과가 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 엑츄에이터(14)의 헤드짐벌(18) 선단에 설치된 헤드(10)와, 상기 헤드(10)의 두부상면(11a,11b)의 슬라이드면 일단에 정보의 전기적, 자성적 신호를 디스크(20)와 주고 받기 위한 갭(12a,12b)과, 상기 갭들(12a,12b)의 각각의 끝과 연결진 헤드와이어(13)와, 상기 헤드와이어(13)를 상기 엑츄에이터(14)의 후부로 끌어내개 위해 상기 헤드짐벌(18)의 양측면에 고정턱(17)을 형성하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 엑츄에이터상의 헤드에 있어서, 상기 헤드(10)가 디스크(20)상의 정보를 탐색하고자할 때 탐색속도를 향상시키기위해 헤드(10)가 이동하려는 방향쪽의 갭(12a,12b)이 스윗칭 작용에 의해 작동되도록 제어함을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 헤드 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 갭들(12a,12b)은 부상면들(12a, 12b)의 슬라이드면에서 서로 대칭되게 설치됨을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 헤드 장치.
