Abstract

제1도는 커넥터용 이중 리셉터클로 두 개의 광 섬유 커넥터를 고정시키기 위한 본 발명에 따른 어탭터 조립체의 사시도.

Claims (6)

  1. 대체로 평행하게 나란히 정렬된 두 개의 광 섬유 커넥터를 고정하기 위한 어댑터 조립체에 있어서, 커넥터가 축방향으로 통로 내부에 삽입될 때, 상기 광 섬유 커넥터들을 거의 나란하게 고정시키도록 구성된 한쌍의 관통 통로를 구비하여 상기 커넥터를 거의 완전히 둘러싸는 본체와, 각 커넥터와 결합하여 본체내의 횡방향 개구로 삽입가능한 고정 클립과, 커넥터를 본체의 개개의 통로 내에 고정시키기 위해 각 고정 클립과 커넥터 사이에 보조 결합 보유 수단을 포함하고, 상기 통로는 부유 모션을 커넥터와 본체 사이에 제공하도록 개개의 커넥터에 대해 횡방향으로 확대되고, 상기 보유 수단은 상기 부유 모션을 커넥터와 본에 사이에 허용하도록 형상화된 것을 특징으로 하는 어댑터 조립체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 보유 수단은 개개의 고정 클립의 일부를 수납하기 위해 각 커넥터내에 리세스를 포함하고, 상기 리세스는 상기 부유 모션을 허용하기 위해 상기 클립의 일부에 대해 확대된 것을 특징으로 하는 어댑터 조립체.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 리세스는 개개의 고정 클립의 레그부를 수납하기 위해 상기 축방향의 횡방향으로 연장한 홈을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 어댑터 조립체.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 어댑터 조립체는 각 커넥터의 양측면들상에 상기 홈들 중 하나를 포함하고, 각 고정클립은 개개의 커낵터의 양측면들상에 있는 홈내에 삽입 가능한 한쌍의 레그부를 한정하는 U형상으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 어댑터 조립체.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 통로의 커넥터를 고정시키는 위치에서 클립을 로크시키도록 각 고정 클립의 적어도 하나의 레그부와 본체 사이에 보조 결합 랫치 수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 어댑터 조립체.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 통로의 커넥터를 고정시키는 위치에서 클립을 로크시키도록 각 고정 클립과 본체 사이에 보조 결합 랫치 수단을 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 어댑터 조립체.
