Abstract
본 발명은 동영상 단말기에 간축기능을 추가시켜 전송대역을 보다 효율적으로 이용하는 간축장치에 관한 것으로, 이를 해결하기 위하여 비디오 카메라(CCD)로부터 제공받은 영상 신호를 간축하고, 이 간축된 영상 신호를 부호화하여 움직임 변위 및 상기 부호화된 영상 데이타를 발생하는 영상신호 부호화수단과, 영상신호 부호화 수단에 의거하여 부호화된 영상 데이타 및 움직임 변위 데이타를 교환기로 송출하거나 이 교환기로부터 제공되는 부호화된 영상 데이타 및 움직임 변위 데이타를 제공받은 단말카드와, 단말카드를 통해 교환기로부터 전달받은 부호화된 영상 데이타 및 움직임 변위를 복호화하는 영상신호 복호화수단을 구비함으로써 한정된 전송대역을 보다 효율적으로 이용할 수 있는 효과가 있다.The present invention relates to a shortening device that uses a transmission band more efficiently by adding a shortening function to a video terminal.
