Abstract
Basophilic proteinase gene is cloned from an alkali-tolerant strain which belongs to Pseudomonas sp. Proteinase is produced by the cultivation of E. coli (JM83/pAP101 KFCC-10817), which is transformed by expression vector (pAP101 KFCC-10817) including above described proteinase gene.
