Abstract

디코더 재조성 에러는, 일부 프레임들에 의해 발생된 에러가 다른 프레임들에 의해 발생된 에러보다 더 낮으므로, 다른 프레임들에 걸쳐 에러를 균일화하는 인코더에서 보상하기 위해 추정된다. 보상은 프레임 그룹내의 특정 번호의 프레임에 각각 관련된 시간 대역의 형태로 적용된 시간 가중화에 의해 이루어 진다. 2n개 프레임들 내의 한 프레임은 'T' 프레임이며 나머지 프레임은 'B' 프레임인 로그적 시간 데시메이션 프레임 구조에 대해 상기 기술이 응용될 수 있다.

Claims (8)

  1. 현재의 비디오 프레임에 종속된 인코더내의 재조성(reconstruction)에러를 추정하는 단계 및, 다른 프레임들에 걸쳐 에러를 균일화하기 위해 상기 추정된 재조성 에러에 종속된 보상을 하는 단계로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 압축 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 'T' 프레임 및 한개 이상의 'B'프레임을 포함하는 그룹으로 인코딩되는 비디오 프레임 그룹은 그 그룹내의 프레임이 보상되는 것에 따라 보상되는 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 압축 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 각각의 비디오 프레임 그룹내에서, 'I'프레임이 아닌 다른 임의의 프레임은 'B' 프레임인 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 압축 방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 각각의 인코딩된 비디오 프레임 그룹은 2n개 프레임들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 압축 방법.
  5. 제1항에 내지 제4항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 보상은 시간적 가중화(temoral weighting)에 의해 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 압축 방법 .
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 입력되는 비디오 프레임 그룹은 다수의 프레임을 포함하고, 상기 시간적 가중화는 특정 번호의 프레임에 각각 관련된 시간 대역의 형태로 적용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 압축 방법.
  7. 첨부 도면을 참조하여 상세히 설명되는 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 압축 방법.
  8. 제1항 내지 7항중의 어느 한 항에서 설정된 방법에 따라 동작가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 압축 장치.
