본 고안은 랙 앤드 피니언(Rack Pinion)식 자동차 조향기어박스의 오일시일(Oil Seal)을 지지 및 변형을 방지할 수 있도록 한 오일시일 지지장치에 관한 것으로 보다 상세히 설명하면, 조향기어박스의 피니언 샤프트 외주연으로 설치되는 스냅링과 오일시일 사이에 오일시일 지지장치를 설치하여 자동차의 비포장도로 주행시 발생되는 서지압(Surge Pressure)으로 인한 오일시일의 변형을 방지하고, 파워 스티어링 오일의 누유를 예방하며, 조향기어의 내구성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 한 조향기어박스의 오일시일 지지장치에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to an oil seal support device capable of supporting and preventing deformation of an oil seal of a rack and pinion type automotive steering gear box.
