Abstract
광학요소 어레이에 사용되는 광학요소를 광출력면과 광입력면을 갖고 또한 그 광입력면으로부터 광출력면으로 내측으로 경사진 측면을 갖는 절단된 대칭고형체 구조로 갖도록 배열된다.
출력되는 입력광의 분획과 출력광의 각 분포는 광입력면에 대한 광출력면의 비(比)와 경사각의 함수로써 변화한다.
조망각, 콘트라스트 및 THROUGHPUT으로 본 광학적기하학구조는 입력면의 면적에 대한 출력면의 면적비가 0.1~0.3이고, 상기 구조의 축에 대한 경사각이 7.5~17.5이다.

제1도 내지 제6도는 본 발명에 따라 배치된 광학요소의 기하학적 특성을 예시한 다이아그램.
Claims (10)
- 광입력면과 광출력면을 포함하는 끝이 절단된 대칭적 고형체 구조를 포함하여 구성되며, 상기 광입력면과 광출력면을 상이한 선택면적을 갖고, 상기 광입력면 면적에 대한 상기 광출력면 면적의 비(ratio)는 약 0.1~0.3이며, 상기 끝이 절단된 대칭적 고형체구조는 상기 광입력면으로부터 상기 광출력면으로 약 7.5˚~17.5℃의 각으로 내측으로 경사져 있는 측면을 가지며, 상기 광출력면을 나가는, 상기 광입력면으로 들어가는 광의 분율 및 상기 광출력면을 나가는 광의 각 분포는 상기 비(ratio)와 상기 각의 함수로 변화함을 특징으로 하는 광학 요소어레이를 포함하는 디스플레이 배열에 사용되는 광학 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 끝이 절단된 고형체 대칭 부재는 사각형의 단면을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 광학 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 끝이 절단된 고형체 대칭형 부재는 원형 단면을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 광학 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 끝이 절단된 고형체 대칭형 부재는 직선측면을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 광학 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 끝이 절단된 고형체 대칭형 부재는 굴곡을 이룬 측면을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 광학 요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광입력면과 광출력면을 평행한 평면내에 있음을 특징으로 하는 광학요소.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광출력면을 나가는, 상기 광입력면에 들어가는 광의 분획은 상기 비(比)와 각(角)의 함수로서 변화하며, 상기 광출력면을 나가는 광의 각 분포역시 상기 비와 각의 함수로써 변화함을 특징으로 하는 광학 요소.
- 광입력면과 광출력면을 포함하고 굴절율이 1.4~1.7 범위의 끝이 절단된 대칭형 고형체구조를 포함하여 구성되며, 상기 광입력면과 광출력면은 상이한 선택면적을 가지며, 상기 광 입력면 면적에 대한 상기 광출력면 면적의 비는 약 0.1~0.3이며, 상기 끝이 절단된 대칭형 고형체 구조는 상기 광입력면으로부터 상기 광출력면으로 상기 대칭형 고형체구조의 축에 대하여 약 7.5~17.5˚의 각으로 내측으로 경사진 측면을 가짐을 특징으로 하는 광학 요소어레이를 포함한 디스플레이 배열에 사용되는 광학요소.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 끝이 절단된 대칭형 고형체구조는 정대칭 피라미드(right symmetric pyramid)형임을 특징으로 하는 광학요소.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 끝이 절단된 대칭형 고형체구조는 직각 원뿔 세그멘트임을 특징으로 하는 광학요소.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
