Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine optische Vorrichtung (1) zum Mischen von Licht unterschiedlicher Wellenlänge, wobei die Vorrichtung (1) an zumindest zwei Lichtquellen (2,3) anschliessbar ist, welche Licht einer ersten und einer zweiten bzw. weiteren Wellenlänge aussenden. Die erfindungsgemässe optische Vorrichtung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie ein erstes Lichtleiterfaserbündel (4) und ein zweites bzw. weiteres Lichtleiterfaserbündel (5) sowie einen Mischblock (6) mit einer Immissionsfläche (7) und einer Emissionsfläche (8) umfasst. Die Fasern der Lichtleiterfaserbündel (4,5) weisen einen Durchmesser (d) auf, sind miteinander statistisch durchmischt, im wesentlichen parallel zueinander angeordnet und - zum gleichzeitigen Einspeisen des Lichtes der unterschiedlichen Wellenlängen - an die Immissionsfläche (7) des Mischblocks (6) angeschlossen. Der Mischblock (6) weist - zum Aufweiten des aus jeder Lichtleiterfaser der Bündel (4,5) einfallenden Lichtstrahls auf einen Lichtfleck mit einem Durchmesser (D) - eine optisch wirksame Länge (L) auf.
