본 발명은 주문형 비디오 시스템에서의 데이타 에러 복원 방법에 관한 것으로서, 이를 위하여, 주문형 비디오 시스템에서소정 비트의 동기 신호, ID 신호, 비디오 데이타 신호, 패리티 신호로 이루어진 다수의 동기 블럭을 포함하는 디지탈 데이타 스트림 재생시 상기 동기 블럭내의 동기 신호의 에러에 기인하여 발생되는 데이타 손실을 복원하기 위한 방법으로서, 입력되는 상기 디지탈 데이타 스트림에서 동기 신호를 검출 비교하여 동기 신호가 검출되면 입력되는 동기 블럭 데이타를 동기 블럭 단위로 재생 처리하는 제1과정과; 동기 신호가 검출되지 않으면 입력되는 동기 블럭 데이타를 메모리에 순차적으로 저장하고 다음 동기 블럭의 동기 신호가 검출되는지를 판단하는 제2과정과; 다음 동기 블럭의 동기 신호가 검출되면 동기 신호가 검출되지 않아서 메모리에 저장되어 있는 데이타의 에러를 복원하여 처리하는 제3과정을 포함하는 주문형 비디오 시스템에서의 데이타 에러 복원 방법을 제공함으로써, 재생시 디지탈 데이타 스트림내의 동기 블럭의 동기 신호 에러 발생시 동기 신호 에러를 복원하여 데이타 손실을 막을 수 있는 효과가 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
