Abstract

본 발명의 목적은 액체 패킹을 어느 정도 다량으로 충전하였다고 하더라도 케이싱의 내측으로는 비어져 나오는 것을 방지할 수 있는 워터 펌프를 제공하는 것이다. 실린더 블록(10)의 워터 재킷부(2)측의 측벽 접합면(21)과 펌프실(5)을 형성하는 펌프 하우징(1)측의 접합면(13)을 액체 패킹(16)을 개재시켜서 접합하여 펌프실(5)내외를 밀봉하고, 또한 펌프 하우징(1)측의 접합면(13)에는 액체 패킹을 형성하는 액체 패킹제를 모아 두는 직사각형 단면의 충전구(17)가 형성되어 있고, 그 충전구(14)의 펌프실(5)의 외측 접합면측 모서리에 모따기부(17)가 형성되어 있다.It is an object of the present invention to provide a water pump which can prevent protruding inside the casing even if the liquid packing is filled to some extent. Claims

Liquid packing which seals the inside and outside of the pump chamber by inserting the liquid packing into the joint surface of the water jacket portion of the cylinder block and the pump housing forming the pump chamber, and further forms the liquid packing on the joint surface on the pump housing side. A water pump casing having a filling section of a rectangular cross section for collecting a material, wherein the chamfer is formed at a corner of a joining surface side of the filling chamber outside of the filling port.
