Abstract
본 발명은 독립 교차로의 신호등 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 고정 주기 운용 방식(Pre-timed Operation)의 경우 교통 상황에 상관없이 정해진 규칙으로 신호등을 제어함으로써 교통 상황에 적절히 대응하지 못하고, 감응식 제어 방식의 경우 차량의 존재 유무에 따라 신호등을 제어하나 차량 분포가 일정치 않을 때에는 불필요한 신호등 제어에 의해 신호등 제어 효율을 저하시키는 문제점이 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 본 발명은 교차로의 교통 상황을 검출함에 의해 양방향 통과 차량의 평균값으로 진행 차량의 대수를 설정하고 대기 차량의 통과 시간과 뒤이은 연속적인 차량의 검지 계수가 진행 차량의 대수의 상위 한계값에 도달하는 시간을 합하여 정지선과 검지 지점 사이의 차량을 모두 통과시키기 위한 시간을 결정함에 의해 현재 상황에 대응하는 신호등을 제어하도록 창안한 것으로, 본 발명은 교통 상황 변화에 따라 신호등을 적응 제어함으로써 교통 제어 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다.The present invention relates to a traffic light control method of an independent intersection, conventionally, in the case of a fixed-cycle operation method (Pre-timed Operation) by controlling the traffic light with a predetermined rule irrespective of the traffic conditions, it does not respond appropriately to the traffic conditions, insensitive control In the case of the method, the traffic light is controlled according to the existence of the vehicle, but when the distribution of the vehicle is not constant, there is a problem in that the traffic light control efficiency is reduced by unnecessary traffic light control.
