Abstract

가공에 난점이 많고 제조비가 값비싼 방향족계 액정 폴리에스테르 대신에 본 발명은 디 애시드로써 지방족인 푸라믹 산을 사용하여 제조되는 하기식(Ⅰ)의 구조를 갖는 액정 폴리에스테르에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 액정 폴리에스테르는 제조방법이 용이하고 경제적이며 별도의 개질 공정없이도 가공이 용이하여 고강도 섬유 및 고강도 플라스틱의 형태로 사용될 수 있다.
상기 식에서 A는또는이고, B는이며, 여기서, R1및 R2는 H, 할로겐 또는 C1내지 C3알킬이고, R3와 R4는 각각 독립적으로 H, 할로겐 또 C1내지 C3알킬이다.

액정 폴리에스터 및 이의 제조방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명에 있어서, 실시예 1에 따라 제조된 폴리에스터 수지의 편광 현미경(crossed polarized) 사진(220℃, 100배)이고,
제2도는 본 발명에 있어서, 실시예 1에 따라 제조된 폴리에스터 수지의 DSC 곡선을 나타내며,
제3도는 본 발명에 있어서, 실시예 1에 따라 제조된 폴리에스터 수지의 TGA 곡선을 나타낸다.

Claims (3)

  1. 하기식(Ⅰ)로 표시되는 액정 폴리에스테르 수지.
    상기 식에서 A는또는이고, B는이며, 여기서 R1및 R2는 H, 할로겐 또는 C1내지 C3알킬이고, R3와 R4는 각각 독립적으로 H, 할로겐 또 C1내지 C3알킬이다.
  2. 제 1항에 있어서, R1및 R2가 각각 H, 할로겐 또는 메틸이고, R3와 R4가 H인 액정 폴리에스테르 수지.
  3. 하기식(Ⅱ)의 화합물 도는 하기식(Ⅲ)의 화합물을 하기식(Ⅳ)의 화합물과 축중합시켜 하기식(Ⅰ)의 액정 폴리에스테르를 제조하는 방법.
    상기 식에서 A는또는이고, B는이며, 여기서 R1및 R2는 H, 할로겐 또는 C1내지 C3알킬이고, R3와 R4는 H, 할로겐 또는 C1내지 C3알킬이고, R5와 R6, R4과 R8은 수소 또는 C1내지 C5의 아실기이고, X1와 X2는 OH 또는 할로겐이다.
