Abstract

본 발명은 브이씨알의 테이프 속도 보상 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 표준모드(SP) 또는 1/2모드(LP) 변속시 고주파의 포락선 신호를 검출한 다음 크기를 평균한 후 기준값과 비교하여 크고 작음에 따라 속도 모드를 판별하는 방식으로, 표준모드(SP)인 경우 고주파값이 작거나 1/2모드(LP)인 경우 고주파 값이 크면 기준값과 비교함에 의해 변속 모드 판별에 오류가 발생하게 되고 또한 , 테이프의 기록 고주파량이 적정값이라도 기준 전압의 변동폭이 클 경우에는 모드 판별에 오류가 발생하게 된다. 이러한 점을 해결하기 위하여 본 발명은 종래의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 8mm 재생 중 전진 고속 전진 재생(CUE)이나 고속 후진 재생(REV)과 같은 변속 재생시 헤드시위칭 기간동안 고주파 펄스를 계수하여 기준수와 비교함에의해 변속 모드를 판단하고 그 판단모드로 데크를 구동하도록 창안한 것으로, 본 발명은 변속으로 8mm 재생 중 소정 기간동안의 캡스턴펄스의 수를 계수하여 기준값과 비교함으로써 정확한 속도 모드를 판단하여 해당 모드의 속도로 동작시킴에의해 오동작을 방지하여 양호한 화면을 제공할 수 있다.The present invention relates to a tape speed compensation method and apparatus of V-Cal.
