Abstract

본 발명은 디지탈 영상신호처리에 관한 것으로, 특히 DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform)계수복원에 관계하는 계산량을 감축하여 처리할 수 있는 대역폭(Bandwidth)보다 더 큰 프로파일에 대해서도 복호처리가 가능하게한 하위양립성(Backward Compatibility)을 보장하는 HDTV 디지탈 영상복호화기에 관한 것이다.

Claims (4)

  1. 입력되는 상위 또는 하위레벨의 영상압축데이타를 가변길이디코딩하는 VLD부와, 상기 VLD부의 출력데이타를 지그재그 스캔 디코딩하는 IZZ부와, 상기 IZZ부의 출력데이타를 역양자화변환하는 역양자화변환부와, 상기 역양자화 변환부의 출력데이타를 역 DCT 변환하여 상위레벨일 경우의 복원차분영상데이타를 출력하는 제1IDCT부, 하위레벨일 경우의 복원차분영상데이타를 출력하는 제2IDCT부와, 상기 VLD부에서 출력되는 상위레벨의 움직임 벡터값을 1/2크기로 출력하는 분주기와, 상기 VLD부에서 출력되는 하위레벨의 움직임 벡터값과 이전복원영상데이타 또는 분주기를 통해 출력하는 상위레벨의 움직임 벡터값과 제2 2D필터에서 출력되는 이전복원영상데이타를 입력으로 하여 화면이 바뀔때마다 움직임 보상데이타를 출력하는 움직임 보상부와, 상기 제2IDCT부에서 출력되는 복원차분영상데이타에 움직임 보상부의 움직임 보상데이타가 더해진 복원영상데이타를 저장 출력하거나, 상기 제1IDCT부에서 출력되는 복원차분영상데이타에 움직임보상부의 움직임 보상데이타가 더해져 제2D필터를 통해 출력되는 복원영상데이타를 저장 출력하는 프레임 메모리를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 HDTV의 디지탈 영상복호화기.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제1,2 2D필터는 수평복원영상데이타를 필터링하는 수평디지탈 필터와, 상기 수평디지탈필터의 출력신호를 샘플링 비(比)변환하는 수평 업/다운 샘플러와, 상기 수평 업/다운 샘플러의 출력신호를 입력으로 수직복원영상데이타를 필터링하는 수직디지탈필터와, 상기 수직디지탈필터의 출력신호를 샘플링 비(比)변환하는 수직 업/다운 샘플러를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 HDTV의 디지탈 영상복호화기.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 제2 2D필터 또는 움직임 보상부로 직접 입력되는 이진복원영상데이타는 프레임 메모리부에서 출력되는 것을 특징으로 하는 HDTV의 디지탈 영상복호화기.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 각 구성블럭에서의 상위 또는 하위레벨에 따른 동작은 입력되는 영상압축데이타로부터 추출되는 화면부호화정보 및 계수정보에 의해 선택되어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 HDTV의 디지탈 영상복호화기.
