본 발명은 전자식 배선차단기의 과부하 경보방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로서, 이는 정격부하의 70% 내지 110% 부하가 통전될시 표시수단을 통해 시각적으로 표시하여 주어 배선차단기가 과부하에 의한 트립동작 발생전에 사용자가 과부하 요소를 검사 및 효율적 전력관리를 할 수 있도록 한 것이다. 이와같은 본 발명은 3상전원 입력시 부하전류 검출수단을 통해 얻어진 3상전원에 대한 검출전류와 사용자가 세팅한 트립동작 설정치를 연산 비교하는 과부하 검색과정과, 상기 비교한 결과 검출전류가 세팅된 트립동작 설정치내에 있으면 소정시간 간격으로 표시수단을 구동하고 설정치 이상이면 표시수단을 연속 구동시켜 과부하 발생정도와 경과시간을 표시하는 과부상태 표시과정으로 이루어짐으로서 달성된다.The present invention relates to an overload alarm method and apparatus for an electronic circuit breaker, which is visually displayed through a display means when 70% to 110% of the rated load is energized, so that the circuit breaker is displayed before the trip operation caused by the overload.
