본 발명은 종래의 경식 정구공보다 가볍고, 탄발력이 적도록 구성한 세미-하드 타입 정구공에 관한 것으로서 연로자, 가정주부, 연소자 등 연약자나 초보자가 건강유지 내지 향상을 위하여 체력의 무리 없이 쉽게 적당한 양의 운동을 정기적으로 계속할 수 있는 대상으로서 본 발명에 의햐여 개량된 구성의 세미-하드 타입 정구공을 이용하여 정구를 할수 있도록 하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 목적달성을 위하여 본 발명은 천영고무 70~75%, 합성고무 15~12.5중량%, 인장강도가 높은 가요성 합성수지 15~12.5중량%를 주원료로 하는 조성물로 러버코어볼을 성형하고 그 외표면에 직물 또는 펠트등으로 된 커버의 내면을 금형으로 프레스 성형하여 일체화되도록 하여 러버코어볼의 내부의 중공부에 5psi이하의 압력을 가진 공기 또는 가스를 주입시켜서 총중량 48~52g의 세미-하드 타입 정구공을 구성하도록 하였다.The present invention relates to a semi-hard type tennis ball configured to be lighter and less resilient than conventional hard tennis balls, and it is easy for elderly people, housewives, combustors, etc., weak and novices to easily maintain health and improve fitness without difficulty.
