comparing an evaluation value(F.V) of camera recording with a reference value for automatic focusing evaluation(FV0); calculating the change of a minimum value(F-UMN) and a maximum value(F-DMX) as a percentage after storing the lower limit of F.V as F-UMN when F.V is greater than FV0, and storing the upper limit of F.V as F-DMX when F.V is smaller than FV0; and performing auto focusing by redriving a lens driving motor if a reduced limit(RL) is larger than a reference value for determination, or returning to the previous condition without redriving the motor if RL is smaller than the reference value for determination ; thereby achieving a high picture quality during recording.
