Abstract

자기 카드 판독기나 개인용 컴퓨터의 키스위치와 같은 입력장치를 작동시키기 위해서, 이것들은 키보드 처리기(18)에 접속되며 지금까지 사용되지 않은 제어 코드에 의해 작동된다. 상기 입력장치의 데이타는 가능한 키 작동을 위한 데이타로 리코드 되며 개인용 컴퓨터로 데이타 전송은 비존재 키를 위한 코드에 의해 개시된다. 그 결과로서, 개인용 컴퓨터의 키보드 제어기는 프로그램될 필요가 없으며, 상기 입력 장치의 기능은 키보드를 통해서 모의될 수 없다.

Claims (4)

  1. 데이타 전송 수단(16)을 통해 키보드 제어기(15)를 갖는 개인용 컴퓨터(11)에 접속되는 키보드에서 입력장치(22, 23)를 작동시키기 위한 방법에 있어서, 상기 키보드는 다음 특징을 갖는 키보드 처리기(18)를 갖는 것 즉, -상기 키보드 처리기(18)가 키코드를 개인용 컴퓨터에 전송하며, 상기 키보드 제어기는 선정된 허용 불가능한 코드를 거절하며 허용가능한 코드만을 전송하며, -상기 허용가능한 코드중 일부는, 키보드의 키를 작동시키므로 발생될 수 없는 더미 키코드이며, -상기 입력장치의 데이타는 허용가능한 코드로 변환되며, -상기 입력 장치(22, 23)의 작동시 또는 그후에, 상기 키보드 프로세서(18)는, 입력장치(22, 23)로 부터 발생될 때 다음 데이타를 확인하는 더미 키 코드를 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, -상기 키보드 제어기(15)가 명령 코드를 상기 키보드 처리기(18)에 전송할 수 있으며, -상기 키보드 처리기(18)가 이러한 작동 모드가 인에이블 코드를 표시하는 명령 코드에 의해 요청되었을때마다, 입력장치(22, 23)에 의해 제공된 데이타를 자동으로 전송하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, -입력장치(22, 23)가 접속 또는 작동될 때, 키보드 처리기(18)는, 다른 명령 코드의 에러없는 실행을 위한 승인 코드와 같은 승인 코드를 갖는 인에이블 코드에 대응하며, -입력장치(22, 23)가 접속되지 않거나 달리 작동되지 않을 때, 상기 키보드 처리기(18)가, 정의되지 않은 명령 코드의 전송후에 반복 코드와 같은 반복 코드에 응답하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
  4. 전항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, -상기 입력장치(22, 23)가 여러 작동상태를 갖으며, 작동 상태의 변화는 더미키 코드의 전송에 의해 전송되며, -인에이블 코드가 사용되면, 입력장치(22, 23)의 상태가 전송되며, 여기서 실제로 존재하는 상태에 대응하는 더미 키 코드가 전송되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
