Abstract

목적
제어장치내에 데이터 RAM을 설치하지 않고 흐스트 컴퓨터와 HDD 사이에서 데이터를 전송한다.
구성
전원공급시, 버스 커트롤러(40)를 세트함으로써 버퍼셀렉터(18, 20)의 동작을 B에서 C로 한 후, ID 커맨드를 HDD1, HDD2로 전송한다. 컨트롤러(40)를 세트함으로써 셀렉터(18, 20)의 동작을 C에서 B로 한 후, HDD1, HDD2의 RAM에 기억된 파라미터를 MPU(26)의 RAM에 저장하고, 저장된 파라미터를 미러 디스크용 파라미터로 변경한다. 변경된 미러디스크용 파라미터를 HDD1의 RAM에 기록한다. 그리고, 미러디스크용 파라미터를 HDD1의 RAM으로부터 판독하며 동시에 호스트 컴퓨터로 전송한다.

Claims (6)

  1. 데이터를 기록하기 위한 자기기록매체인 자기디스크와 상기 자기디스크에 데이터를 기록하며 상기 자기디스크에 기록된 데이터를 판독하는 자기헤드를 갖춘 한쌍의 하드디스크로 구성되는 하드디스크 장치와, 호스트 컴퓨터로부터 전송된 데이터와 동일한 데이터를 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크 각각에 기록시키고 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크중 하나의 하드디스크로부터 데이터를 판독하여 판독한 데이터를 호스트 컴퓨터로 전송하도록 상기 하드디스크 장치를 제어하는 제어 장치를 포함하는 이중(2重)디스크 기록장치에 있어서; 상기 제어장치는 한쌍의 하드디스크로부터 기록된 데이터의 판독시 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크 각각의 자기헤드위치로부터 동일 데이터를 판독하는 자기디스크의 지점까지의 거리가 한쌍의 하드디스크의 각각에서 상이하도록 상기 하드디스크 장치를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 디스크 기록 장치.
  2. 데이터를 기록하기 위한 자기기록매체인 자기디스크와 상기 자기디스크에 데이터를 기록하며 상기 자기디스크에 기록된 데이터를 판독하는 자기헤드를 갖춘 한쌍의 하드디스크로 구성되는 하드디스크 장치와, 호스트 컴퓨터로부터 전송된 데이터와 동일한 데이터를 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크 각각에 기록시키고 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크중 하나의 하드디스크로부터 데이터를 판독하며 판독한 데이터를 상기 호스트 컴퓨터로 전송하도록 상기 하드디스크 장치를 제어하는 제어장치를 포함하는 이중 디스크 기록장치에 있어서, 상기 제어장치는 상기 호스트 컴퓨터로부터 전송된 데이터와 동일한 데이터가 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크의 자기디스크상에 있는 각각 다른지점에 기록되도록 상기 하드디스크 장치를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 디스크 기록 장치.
  3. 데이터를 기록하기 위한 자기기록매체인 자기디스크와 상기 자기디스크에 데이터를 기록하며 상기 자기디스크에 기록된 데이터를 판독하는 자기헤드를 갖춘 한쌍의 하드디스크로 구성되는 하드디스크 장치와, 호스트 컴퓨터로부터 전송된 데이터와 동일한 데이터를 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크 각각에 기록시키고 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크중 하나의 하드디스크로부터 데이터를 판독하며 판독한 데이터를 호스트 컴퓨터로 전송하도록 상기 하드 디스크 장치를 제어하는 제어 장치를 포함하는 이중 디스크 기록장치에 있어서, 상기 제어장치는 한쌍의 하드디스크중 하나의 하드디스크로부터 판독한 데이터를 상기 호스트 컴퓨터로 전송하고 있을 때, 상시 데이터를 전송하고 있는 하드디스크 이외의 하드디스크의 자기헤드 위치가 상기 전송하고 있는 데이터에 대응하는 데이터가 이 하드디스크의 자기디스크상에 기록되어 있는 지점 이외의 지점에 세트되도록 상기 하드디스크 장치를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 디스크 기록 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 제어장치는 상기 호스트 컴퓨터로부터 전송된 데이터와 동일한 데이터가 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크의 자기디스크상에 있는 각각 다른 지점에 기록되도록 상기 하드디스크 장치를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 디스크 기록 장치.
  5. 데이터를 기록하기 위한 자기기록매체인 자기디스크와 상기 자기디스크에 데이터를 기록하며 상기 자기디스크에 기록된 데이터를 판독하는 자기헤드와 상기 자기디스크 및 상기 자기헤드의 파라미터를 기억하는 기억 수단을 갖춘 한쌍의 하드디스크로 구성되는 하드디스크 장치와, 호스트 컴퓨터로부터 전송된 데이터와 동일한 데이터를 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크 각각에 기록시키고 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크중 하나의 하드디스크로부터 데이터를 판독하며 판독한 데이터를 호스트 컴퓨터로 전송하도록 상기 하드디스크 장치를 제어하는 제어장치를 포함하는 이중 디스크 기록 장치에 있어서, 상기 제어장치는 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크 각각의 기억 수단에 기억되어 있는 파라미터를 판독하며, 판독된 파라미터를 동일한 데이터를 기록하고 있는 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크의 하드디스크 장치의 사용방식에 대응한 파라미터로 변환하며, 변환된 파라미터를 상기 한쌍의 하드디스크의 어느 한쪽의 하드디스크에 있는 기억수단에 기억시키며, 상기 변환된 파라미터를 기억한 하드 디스크의 기억수단에 기억된 상기 변환된 파파미터를 판독하며, 판독된 상기 변환된 파라미터를 호스트 컴퓨터를 전송함으로써 호스트 컴퓨터가 상기 하드디스크 장치의 파라미터를 수신할 수 있도록 상기 하드디스크 장치를 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이중 디스크 기록 장치.
