Abstract

본 발명은 광센서가 적용된 박막형 액정표시소자에 관한 것으로, 종래 광센서가 적용된 박막형 액정표시소자는 광센서의 형성으로 인하여 유효표시영역이 감소되며, 입사되는 외부 빛이 상부판넬의 편광판, 블랙매트릭스, 칼라필터를 통과하게 되므로 광손실이 발생하게 되는 문제점이 있었다. 본 발명은 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 종래의 블랙매트릭스를 다층의 광센서로 형성하여 반사율을 줄이고, 그 광센서의 출력을 활용하여 표시장치의 구동조건 및 백라이트(Back Light)의 밝기를 조절할 수 있도록 한 광센서가 적용된 박막형 액정표시소자를 제공하는 것이다.The present invention relates to a thin film type liquid crystal display device to which an optical sensor is applied.
