Abstract

본 발명은 반사형 LCD에 관한 것으로, 상ㆍ하측 액정기판이 실패턴에 의해 접착되고, 셀갭에 액정이 밀봉되어 있으며, 외부광을 반사시켜 화소를 표시하는 반사형 LCD에서 상기 하측 액정기판상에 형성되는 도전층 패턴을 빛반사율이 우수한 재질로 형성하고, 평탄화한 후, 그 상측에 편광막과 배향막을 형성하여 외부광이 상기 반사용 도전패턴에서 반사되어 화소를 표시하도록 하였으므로, 외부광이 기판과 투명전극 패턴을 통과하는 횟수가 감소되어 LCD의 휘도가 증가되어 소자의 동작 특성이 향상된다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
