Abstract

차폐된 코넥터, 차폐된 케이블 및 조이스틱 접속부를 에워싸며 미디 회로의 최소한 3면 차폐한 넓은 접지면을 가진 회로 기판을 포함한 단자 블럭을 결합시킨 미디/조이스틱 브레이크아웃 상자가 기술되었다. 단자 블럭은 방사선 차폐기능을 가진 하우징이다. 단자 블럭 하우징 내에 포함된 전기회로 기판의 접지면에 접속될 차폐층을 형성하기 위하여, 하우징 즉 단자 블럭은 도전성 금속 섬유를 함유한 플라스틱을 사출 성형하거나, 하우징의 내측벽에 도전성 물질을 칠하거나 도금하여 제작한다. 단자 블럭은 미디 장치와 두개의 조이스틱을 동시에 오디오 어댑터 카드에 접속할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 미디-인, 미디-아웃, 미디-스루코넥터와 한 쌍의 조이스틱 인터페이스 코넥터를 제공한다.

제1도는 컴퓨터의 오디오/조이스틱 및 미디 브레이크아웃 상자를 도시한 도면, 제2도는 케이블, 조이스틱 인터페이스와 함께 브레이크아웃 상자내에 포함된 전기회로를 도시한 회로도, 제3도는 브레이크아웃 상자의 회로 기판 및 상기 전기회로 기판상에 포함된 회로의 실시예를 도시한 도면, 제4도는 브레이크아웃 상자 및 그 구성 부품의 부분 확대도.

Claims (7)

  1. 컴퓨터 오디오 어댑터를 미디(MIDI)호환 장치 및 조이스틱 장치에 접속시키기 위한 인터페이스 장치에 있어서, 미디-인(MIDI-In)코넥터; 미디 아웃(MIDI-Out)코넥터; 다수의 조이스틱 코넥터; 한정된 미디 인터페이스 신호와 조이스틱 신호를 갖는 제1코넥터; 및 상기 미디 인터페이스 신호와 상기 조이스틱 신호를 반송하기 위하여 상기 제1코넥터에 부착된 제1단부 및 제2단부를 가진 차폐된 다수의 도체 케이블을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 부착지점에 상기 미디-인 코넥터, 상기 미디-아웃 코넥터, 미디 스루 코넥터 상기 조이스틱 코넥터, 및 상기 다수의 도체 케이블의 제2단부가 부착되고, 접지면을 가진회로 기판을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 접지면이 상기 회로 기판에 상기 조이스틱 코넥터가 부착도니 상기 부착지점을 완전히 에워싸는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 접지면의 일부가 상기 회로 기판상에서 상기 조이스틱용 상기 부착지점과 상기 미디 코넥트용 부착지점의 중간 부분에 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 미디-인 코넥터를 상기 다중 도체 케이블 내의 상기 미디 인터페이스 신호로 부터 전기적으로 분리시키시 위해 상기 회로 기판 상에 배치된 분리 회로 및 상기 회로 기판을 밀봉하는 전기 방사선을 차폐시키기 위한 차폐성을 갖는 밀봉부(enclosure)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 회로 기판상에 배치되어 있고 상기 전기 회로를 차폐시켜 전기 방사선을 감소시키는 접지면과 전기회로를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 상기 회로 기판의 상기 접지면이 상기 밀봉부에 전기적으로 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 장치.
