Abstract

본 발명은 단판식 액정표시소자(LCD) 투영기에 관한 것으로서, 특히 광학계의 광로중에 거울을 삽입하여 촛점특성을 만족시키고 크기를 소형화할수 있는 단판식 액정표시소자 투영기에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 LCD 패널을 구동시켜주는 구동장치, 평행광을 조사해주는 조명장치, 결상에 관여하는 광학렌즈계를 구비하는 투영기에 있어서, 상기 광학렌즈계는 포물면 반사경으로 에워싸인 조명램프와 단판식 LCD 패널 사이에 레트로포커스(retrofocus)형 광학계가 광축에 수직으로 위치하고, LCD 패널로부터 광축의 외향으로 평판형 반사경이 광축에 소정 각도로 경사를 이루며 설치되어 있고, 상기 평판형 반사경의 중심으로부터 소정거리 이격되어 광축에 수직인 광로상에 결상 렌즈계가 설치되어 있는 것에 그 특징이 있다.
이러한 구성의 본 발명은 종래의 방식에서와 같은 상향투사의 부담을 줄일 수 있고, 기기의 전체적인 크기를 소형화 할수 있어 향후 제품의 경쟁력 제고에 그 기여하는 바가 크게 될 것이다.

Claims (2)

  1. LCD 패널을 구동시켜주는 구동장치, LCD 패널 후면에서 평행광을 조사해주는 조명장치, 결상에 관여하는 광학렌즈계를 구비하는 투영기에 있어서, 상기 광학렌즈계는 포물면 반사경(RM′)으로 에워싸인 조명램프(L′)와 단판식 LCD 패널(LP′)사이에 레트로포커스(retrofocus)형 광학계(RF)가 광축에 수직으로 위치하고, LCD 패널(LP′)로부터 광축의 외향으로 소정거리 이격되어 평판형 반사경(PM)이 광축에 소정각도(θ)로 경사를 이루며 설치되어 있고, 상기 평판형 반사경(PM)과 광축이 만나는 지점으로부터 소정거리 이격되어 광축에 수직인 광로상에 다수의 렌즈군으로 이루어진 결상 렌즈계(FL′)가 설치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 단판식 액정표시소자 투영기.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 결합 렌즈계(FL′)의 중심축선은 바닥면(B)으로부터 소정거리 D 만큼 상승되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 단판식 액정표시소자 투영기.
