Abstract
본 발명은 오스테나이트계 스테인레스 제품의 표면층을 하기 (A), (B)를 구비한 특수한 질화경화층에 형성한다. (A) 결정질의 크롬 질화물을 실질적으로 함유하고 있지 않다. (B) 모상인 오스테나이트상으로 2~12중량%의 N원자가 함유되어 있다.This invention forms the surface layer of an austenitic stainless steel product in the special nitride hardening layer provided with following (A) and (B). 이에 따라 다음과 같은 특수한 효과를 얻을수 있다. 즉 본 발명의 스테인레스 질화생성물, 표면층을 구성하는 질화경화층에, 결정크롬 질화물을 실질적으로 함유하고 있지 않기 때문에, 질화경화층에 결정크롬 질화물을 포함하는 스테인레스 질화생성물에 비해서 오스테나이트상(모상)중의 고용크롬이 결정 크롬질화물의 석출생성에 의해 소비되고 있지않다. 따라서 상기 질화 경화층에 있어서, 모상의 결정크롬의 작용에 의해 발생하는 부동태피막(산화피막)이 충분히 생성하고, 그에따라 상기 질화경화층이 상기모상과 같은 뛰어난 내식성을 갖게 된다. 또 상기 결정크롬 질화물의 석출생성에 기초해, 스테인레스 질화생성물의 길이 변화와 면조밀도의 악화가 생기지 않고, 질화처리후에 최종 마무리 가공을 할 필요가 없어진다. 또한, 이발명의 스테인레스 질화생성물은 표면층의 모상중에 2-12%의 N원자가 침투함유됨에 따라 표면경도가 높아지고 결정크롬 질화물로 이루어진 질화경화층에 의해 형성되는 것과 거의같은 높은 표면경도를 구비하게 되는 것을 특징으로 한다.As a result, the following special effects can be obtained.
