Abstract

본 발명은 LCD휘도 조정을 위한 데이타 입력부(300)와, 상기 테이타 입력부(300)의 데이타를 인가받아 전체시스템을 제어하기 위한 제어부(100)와, 상기 제어부(100)의 제어신호에 따라 LCD(도시하지 않았음)를 구동하여 데이타를 상호교환하는 LCD모듈(200) 및 상기 제어부(100)의 휘도제어신호와 상기 LCD모듈(200)의 데이타를 인가받아 상기 LCD모듈(200)에 휘도 조절신호를 인가하는 D/A변환기를 이동한 LCD휘도 조절부(500)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지탈-아날로그 변환기를 이용한 LCD휘도 제어장치를 제공하여 휘도 조절 데이타 비트수에 따라 다단계 조작이 가능하므로 종래의 휘도 제어장치에서 해상도가 낮았던 문제점을 해소하는 효과가 있다.

제3도는 본 발명에 따른 D/A변환기를 이용한 LCD 휘도 제어 장치의 블럭구성도, 제4도는 제2도의 LCD휘도 조절부의 입출력 상태표, 제5도는 본 발명에 따른 휘도전압 및 해상도의 관계그래프.

Claims (3)

  1. LCD휘도 조정을 위한 데이타 입력부(300)와; 상기 데이타 입력부(300)의 데이타를 인가받아 전체시스템을 제어하기 위한 제어부(100)와; 상기 제어부(l00)의 제어신호에 따라 LCD(도시하지 않았음)를 구동하여 데이타를 상호교환하는 LCD 모듈(200) 및 상기 제어부(100)의 휘도제어신호와 상기 LCD모듈(200)의 데이타를 인가받아 상기 LCD모듈(200)에 휘도 조절신호를 인가하는 D/A변환기를 이동한 LCD휘도 조절부(500)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지탈-아날로그 변환기를 이용한 LCD휘도 제어장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 D/A변환기를 이용한 LCD 휘도 조절부는 상기 제어부(100)의 LCD휘도 조절 데이타와 제어신호를 인가받는 래치버퍼(510)와; 상기 래치버퍼(510)에서 출력되는 디지탈 데이타를 아날로그 신호로 변환하는 D/A변환기(520)와; 상기 D/A 변환기(520)의 아날로그 신호를 인가받아 상기 LCD모듈(200)의 휘도 조절신호를 증폭출력하는 증폭기(530)로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지탈-아날로그 변환기를 이용한 LCD휘도 제어장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 증폭기(530)의 출력신호는 출력전압의 범위 설정을 위해 상기 D/A변환기(520)로 귀환되도록 구성되어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 디지탈-아날로그 변환기를 이용한 LCD휘도 제어장치.
