Abstract
본 발명은 차량엔진의 실린더에 장착되는 와류발생용 피스톤에 관한 것으로, 연소실(4) 내부로 유입되는 혼합기와 연소실(4) 내부에서 배출되는 배기가스에 와류를 발생시키기 위하여, 상기 피스톤의 피스톤헤드(3)는 상부 피스톤헤드(3a)와 하부피스톤헤드(3b)로 이중분할되어 이루어지되 이 상부피스톤헤드(3a)와 하부피스톤헤드(3b)는 베어링(7)을 매개로 서로 장착되며, 이 상부피스톤헤드(3a)에 연결핀(8)이 피스톤헤드(3)에 연결설치되고, 이들 상·하부 피스톤헤드(3a,3b)의 바깥둘레면에 형성된 보올나사형성부(9a)가 실린더라이너(2)에 형성대응된 보올나사형성부(9b)에 요철형태로 맞물려 설치됨에 따라 연소실(4)로 유입되는 혼합기와 배출되는 배기가스에 이 회전되는 피스톤헤드(3)에 의해서 와류가 발생되어 불완전연소를 방지하여 환경오염의 방지와 엔진성능의 향상을 도모할 수 있다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
