Abstract

본 발명은 이산화규소나 황산칼슘이나 산화알루미늄을 함유하는 제 1 성분에 셀룰로오즈 섬유와 같은 식물성 섬유 또는 폴리아크릴로니트릴 섬유와 같은 화학섬유 등을 함유하는 제 2 성분을 혼합하고, 소량의 고순도 알루미늄 분말이나 아연분말과 같은 제 3 성분을 가하고 이를 제 4 성분인 물유리와 함게 혼합하여 건조시키면, 고열의 용융과정을 거치지 않고 고형화되어, 단단하고 단열성, 내화성이 우수한 내화단열재를 개시한다.
제 1 성분에서는 이산화규소, 황산칼슘 및 산화알루미늄을 포함하여 중량비에서 40% 이상 함유하고 있는 것이 바람직하다. 또한 건조교형화하기 이전의 내화 단열재의 제 1 성분은 0∼95중량%이고, 제 2 성분은 0.1∼20중량%이며, 제 3 성분은 0∼0.5중량% 이하이고, 물유리는 3∼80중량% 구성되며, 젠체로서 100%가 되도록 혼합하고 균질화 한후, 고형화한다.
물유리는 20℃에서의 밀도가 1255∼1710kg/m3의 범위에 있는 규산나트륨의 수용액이던가 또는 1250∼1420kg/m3의 범위에 있는 규산칼륨의 수용액이다.
제 1 성분으로서는 예를들면 제철소 등에서의 고아재분과 석공장 등에서의 석분과 인산비료공장등에서의 석고계의 성분 등의 이산화규소와 석고질을 많이 함유하는 폐기물을 이용할 수 있다.

Claims (7)

  1. 하기 제 1 성분∼제 4 성분을 100중량%로 조성하여 이를 혼합하고, 건조시켜 고형화한 내화 단열제. 제 1 성분 : 규소나 규소화합물, 칼슘이나 칼슘화합물 또는 알루미늄이나 알루미늄화합물 및 이들의 혼합물로 구성된 군에서 선택된 1종이상의 성분 0∼95중량% ; 제 2 성분 : 식물성 섬유, 화학섬유 및 광물섬유로 구성된 군에서 선택된 1종 이상의 성분 0.1∼99중량% ; 제 3 성분 : 수소 개스를 발생하는 화합물 0∼0.5중량% 제 4 성분 : 물유리 3∼80중량%
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 제 1 성분중 상기 규소나 규소화합물이 제 1 성분에 대해 5중량% 이상 함유함과 동시에 칼슘, 칼슘화합물, 알루미늄, 또는 알루미늄 화합물이 제 1 성분에 대해 40중량% 이상 함유하는 것이 특징인 내화 단열재.
  3. 제 1 항에 있어서, 제 2 성분은 셀룰로오즈 섬유 및 폴리아크릴로니트릴 섬유로 구성된 군에서 선택된 1 종이상을 함유하는 것이 특징인 내화단열재.
  4. 제 1 항에 있어서, 제 3 성분이 수소 발생화합물로서 알루미늄 분말, 아연분말, 마그네슘 또는 칼슘카바이드임이 특징인 내화 단열재.
  5. 제 4 항에 있어서, 알루미늄 분말이 88μ 이하인 것이 특징이 내화 단열재.
  6. 제 1 항에 있어서, 물유리는 20℃에서 밀도가 1255∼1710kg/m3의 범위인 규산나트륨의 수용액이거나, 20℃에서의 밀도가 1250∼1420kg/m3의 범위인 규산칼륨의 수용액인 것이 특징인 내화 단열재.
  7. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 성분이 하유하는 상기 규소나 규소화합물로서 이산화 규소를 의미하고, 상기 칼슘이나 칼슘화합물으로는 황산칼슘을 의미하고, 상기 알루미늄이나 알루미늄화합물으로는 산화알루미늄을 의미함을 특징으로 하는 내화 단열재.
