더블밴드 위성방송 수신장치

본 고안은 위상방송 튜너의 IF밴드폭 가변을 통하여 여러 위상방송신호의 수신을 가능하게 한 더블밴드 위성방송 수신장치에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 위성방송 밴드는 C밴드, Ku밴드 및 ECS밴드로 주파수 대역이 나뉘어진다.
상기 C밴드는 3.7-4.2GHz 대역을, Ku밴드는 11.7-12.5GHz 대역을 그리고 ECS밴드는 10.95-11.7GHz 대역을 커버하게 되는데, 이들 위성방송 신호는 파라볼라 안테나로 수신되어 옥외 LNB에서 1GHz의 신호변환된 후 실내의 BS튜너에 입력되게 된다.
상기 BS튜너로 입력된 1GHz대의 RF신호(즉, LNB에서 변환된 1차 IF신호)는 믹서에서 국부발진 주파수로 믹싱되어 500MHz대의 IF신호, 엄밀하게는 479.5MHz의 2차 IF신호(이하 IF신호라 약한다)로 출력된다.
이러한 IF신호는 FM복조회로를 거쳐 베이스밴드 신호로써 TV세트에 제공된다.
이때 LNB의 1GHz대의 RF신호를 BS튜너의 믹서로 믹싱하여 얻어진 479.5MHz의 IF신호는 쏘필터를 거쳐 27MHz의 대역폭으로 필터링 되는데, 이러한 대역폭은 국내를 비롯한 아시아 지역에서만 사용하고 있기 때문에 유럽형 Ku 밴드나 ECS(유럽통신위성) 밴드의 위성방송 수신이 불가능하게 된다. 그 이유는 IF신호 대역폭을 우리와는 달리하고 있기 때문이다.
본 고안은 BS튜너의 간단한 스위치 조작을 통하여 기존의 C밴드, Ku밴드 및 ECS밴드의 위성방송을 공용수신할 수 있는 더블밴드 위성방송 수신장치를 제안한다.
이러한 본 고안의 특징은 BS튜너의 IF필터단을 더블밴드 쏘필터로 구성하고, 상기 더블밴드 쏘필터의 필터링 밴드 선택이 다이오드 스위칭 회로에 의해 절환되게 함으로써, 멀티밴드 위성방송의 공용수신을 구현시킨다는데 있다.
이하 첨부한 도면에 기초하여 본 고안의 실시예를 설명한다.
제1도는 본 고안 장치에 대한 회로구성도이다.
여기에서 보이고 있는 바와같이 믹서단(도시생략)에서 출력되는 479.5MHz의 IF신호는 전단 IF프리앰프(10)에서 증폭된 후 더블밴드 쏘필터(12)의 입력단자(1)에 인가하게 된다.
상기 더블밴드 쏘필터(12)는 제2도에서 도시하고 있는 바와같이 서로 다른 두개의 필터링 대역폭의 출력단자(3, 4)와 입력단자(1), 그리고 그라운드 단자(2)를 갖는다.
더블밴드 쏘필터(12)의 서로 다른 필터링 대역폭은 도면상에서 예를들고 있는 바와같이, 기존의 단일 Ku밴드용 27MHz 대역폭의 제1밴드와 ECS 밴드용 32MHz 대역폭의 제2밴드로 마련될 수 있다.
또, 상기 27MHz 또는 32MHz 대역폭중 어느 하나의 제1밴드와 22MHz 대역폭의 제2밴드로 마련할 수도 있다.
더블밴드 쏘필터(12)의 제1밴드폭출력단자(3)에서 출력되는 IF신호는 커플링 콘덴서(C1)와 순방향의 스위칭 다이오드(D1)와 커플링 콘덴서(C3)을 통하여 후단 IF프리앰프(14)를 거쳐 출력되게 연결하고, 상기 더블밴드 쏘필터(12)의 제2밴드폭 출력단자(4)에서 출력되는 IF신호는 커플링 콘덴서(C2)와 역방향 스위칭 다이오드(D2)와 커플링 콘덴서(C3)를 통하여 후단 IF프리앰프(14)를 거쳐 출력되게 연결한다.
상기 스위칭 다이오드(D1)의 애노드와 상기 스위칭 다이오드(D2)의 캐소드에는 각각 저항(R1, R2)과 저항(R3, R4)으로 분압된 밴드폭 선택 전압(Vsw)이 인가되게 연결한다.
또한, 상기 스위칭 다이오드(D1)의 캐소드와 스위칭 다이오드(D2)의 애노드와 커플링 콘덴서(C3)의 공동 접속점에는 저항(R5, R6)으로 분압된 회로전압(Vcc)이 인가되게 연결한다.
이와같이 구성된 본 고안의 작용 및 효과를 설명한다.
전단 IF프리앰프(10)에서 증폭된 IF신호가 더블밴드 쏘필터(12)의 입력단자(1)로 입력되면 그의 제1밴드폭 출력단자(3)와 제2밴드폭 출력단자(4)에서 서로 다른 대역폭의 IF신호(479.5MHz)가 필터링되어 출력된다. 상기 더블밴드 쏘필터(12)의 각 출력 단자(3, 4)에서 나오는 제1, 2밴드폭의 IF신호중에서, 제1밴드폭 IF신호는 커플링 콘덴서(C1), 스위칭 다이오드(D1), 커플링 콘덴서(C3)로 이루어지는 신호 전달 계통을 통하여 후단 IF프리앰프(14)에 입력되고, 제2밴드폭 IF신호는 커플링 콘덴서(C2), 스위칭 다이오드(D2), 커플링 콘덴서(C3)로 이루어지는 또다른 신호전달 계통을 통하여 후단 IF프리앰프(14)에 입력되는데, 이들 신호전달계통은 상기 밴드폭 선택전압(Vsw)의 유무에 따라 선택되게 된다.
가령 밴드폭 선택전압(Vsw)이 발생되지 않은 상태라면 스위칭 다이오드(D3)의 캐소드 전위는 저항(R, R)으로 분압된 회로전압(Vcc)이 기준전압으로 인가되는 그의 애노드 전위보다 낮기 때문에(즉, b점의 전압보다 c점위 전압이 높다) 상기 스위칭 다이오드(D2)는 온 된다.
따라서 더블밴드 쏘필터(12)의 출력단자(4)에서 나오는 제2밴드폭의 IF신호가 이 스위칭 다이오드(D2)를 거쳐 후단 IF프리앰프로 전달되게 된다.
이때 스위칭 다이오드(D1)의 애노드 전위가 되는 a점의 전압이 그의 캐소드 전위가 c점의 전위보다 낮기 때문에 이 스위칭 다이오드(D1)는 오프 상태로 유지된다.
한편 상기 밴드폭선택전압(Vsw)이 발생하는 경우 a점 및 b점의 전압은 c점의 전압보다 높게되어 스위칭 다이오드(D1)는 온 되고 스위칭 다이오드(D2)는 오프된다.
이때 밴드폭 선택전압(Vsw)의 발생에 따른 a점∼c점의 전위 조절은 상기 밴드폭 선택 전압(Vsw) 및 회로전압(Vcc)의 크기조절과 각 바이어스 저항(R1, R2)들의 저항비 조정을 통하여 쉽게 구현할 수 있다.
따라서 이번에는 스위칭 다이오드(D1)를 통한 쏘필터(12)의 제1밴드폭 IF신호가 후단 IF프리앰프(14)로 전달된다.
즉, 본 고안은 본드폭 선택전압(Vsw)이 발생되면 Ku밴드 수신이 가능한 27MHz의 제1밴드폭은 IF신호를 필터링하고, 상기 밴드폭 선택전압(Vsw)이 발생되지 않으면 ECS밴드 수신이 가능한 32MHz의 제2밴드폭으로 IF신호를 필터링하게 된다.
이상에서 설명한 바와같은 본 고안은 BS튜너의 IF쏘필터를 폭의 쏘필터로 마련하고, 상기 더블밴드 쏘필터의 각 밴드 폭의 IF신호를 전달하는 스위칭 다이오드가 밴드 선택전압에 의해 교대로 선택되게 함으로써 위성방송 수신장치의 멀티 밴드화를 가능하게 한다.

  1. 위성방송 수신용 튜너의 IF쏘필터링 회로에 있어서, IF신호를 제1, 2밴드폭으로 필터링 출력하는 더블밴드 쏘필터(12)와, 상기 제1밴드폭 IF신호를 전달하는 순방향 스위칭 다이오드(D1)와, 상기 제2밴드폭 IF신호를 전달하는 역방향 스위칭 다이오드(D2)와, 상기 스위칭 다이오드(D1, D2)의 캐소드 및 애노드에 기준 전압을 공급하는 Vcc전압 분압용 저항(R5, R6)과, 상기 스위칭 다이오드(D1)의 애노드에 순방향 바이어스 전압을 공급하는 Vsm전압 분압용 저항(R1, R2)과, 상기 스위칭 다이오드(D2)의 캐소드에 역방향 바이어스전압을 공급하는 Vsm전압 분압용 저항(R3, R4)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 더블밴드 위성방송 수신장치.
