Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for inspecting foreign substances of polyethylene insulators used for insulation purposes in pellets and wires, which is intended to solve the problems of the conventional methods of inspecting the polyethylene insulators by extruding them into tapes or cutting them in a thin state. Therefore, in the present invention, the polyethylene insulator is collected, put into a heat-resistant transparent container, and melted by direct or indirect heating means to make polyethylene transparent, and then the light source is irradiated to the transparent container. In addition to improving the accuracy of the test by checking whether it is mixed, the melting point of the polyethylene can be checked according to the heating temperature, and thus it can be applied to the viscosity characteristic test according to the characteristics of the product.
