Abstract
본 발명은 "폴리스티렌 플라스틱의 제조방법"은, 무수의 트리인산칼슘(tricalcium phosphate) 0.15~1.5중량%와 탄산칼슘(calcium carbonate) 0.07~0.35중량%를 포함하는 수성매질을 가열하여 현탁액을 준비한 후 이것을 모노머(코모노머(comonomer) 또는 전중합체(prepolymer))와 혼합하고, 현탁 중합공정의 15~47%가 변환되는 동안 2차 알킬 황산나트륨(secondary sodium alkyl sulphate) 0.001~0.020중량%를 넣는다.
본 방법은 상기와 같은 기술을 이용함으로써, 모든 종류의 폴리스티렌 플라스틱을 제조할 수 있도록 하고, 분말 함유량이 낮은 비드(bead)의 요구되는 과립 조성물을 제공하고, 그리고 공정의 안정성을 높여주게 된다.

Claims (7)
- 트리칼슘 포스페이트, 칼슘 카보네이트 및 일반식 R-OSO3Na(여기서 R은 8개 내지 18개의 탄소원자를 갖는 히드로카본 래디칼이다)의 2급 소듐 알킬 설페이트 혼합물을 0.15 내지 1.5wt.%로 함유한 안정된 계(stabilizing system)에서 스티렌 또는 메틸 유도체의 현탁액이나 질량-현탁액 중합체에 의해, 또는 스티렌이나 메틸 유도체 및 아크릴산 및/또는 메타크릴산 유도체나 비닐벤젠의 현탁액이나 질량-현탁액 공중합에 의해, 또는 스티렌이나 메틸유도체, 아크릴산 및/또는 메타크릴산 유도체 및 액상매체로써 고무의 질량-현탁액공중합에 의해 스티렌 플라스틱을 제조하는 방법으로, 칼슘 카보네이트를 0.07 내지 0.35wt.%로 트리칼슘 포스페이트의 액상 현탁액에 놓고, 그리고 수득한 혼합물을 상기 생성물을 중합시키기 위해 분산전에 가열하고, 반면에 2급 소듐 알킬 설페이트 혼합물을 0.001 내지 0.020wt.%로 모노머, 코모노머 또는 전중합체가 15 내지 47% 변환되었을때의 현탁 중합과정에 넣는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 혼합된 트리칼슘 포스페이트의 액상 현탁액을 제조하고 칼슘 카보네이트를 70 내지 90℃로 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스티렌 플라스틱의 제조방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기의 중합된 생성물이 스티렌이나 메틸 유도체, 또는 스티렌이나 메틸유도체 및 아크릴산이나 메타크릴산 유도체로써 공중합체이고, 2급 소듐 알킬 설페이트의 혼합물을 상기 모노머 또는 코모노머가 25 내지 47% 변환되었을때 현탁 중합과정에서 넣는 것을 특징으로 하는 스티렌 플라스틱의 제조방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기의 중합된 생성물이 고무나 스티렌을 주성분으로 한 전중합체 및 메틸유도체나 고무 및 스틸렌이나 메틸 유도체 및 아크릴산과 메타크릴산의 유도체를 포함하는 코모노머를 주성분으로 한 메틸 유도체이며, 2급 소듐 알킬 설페이트 혼합물을 상기 공중합체가 15 내지 35% 변환되었을때 현탁중합과정에서 넣는 것을 특징으로 하는 스티렌 플라스틱의 제조방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 모노머 또는 코모노머를 분산하기 전에 70 내지 90℃의 온도로 가열하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스티렌 플라스틱의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 트리칼슘 포스페이트는 6개의 물 분자를 함유한 칼슘 콜로아이드 용액 및 12개의 물 분자를 함유한 트리칼슘 포스페이트의 용액을 함께 넣으므로서 수득되는 것을 특징으로 하는 스티렌 플라스틱의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 현탁중합은 래디칼-형성 개시재의 존재하에 수행되고 최소한 래디칼 형성 개시재의 총량의 일부를 70 내지 90℃의 온도에서 모노모/코모노머/전중합체의 현탁액속에 넣는 것을 특징으로 하는 스티렌 플라스틱의 제조방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
