종래의 텐트 형태로서는 방수직물로 제조되어 가방형태로 휴대할수 있게된 일반적인 텐트가 널리 보급되어있음을 알 수 있으나, 텐트를 설치하기 위해서는 평편한 지형을 준비해야함과, 설치에 필요한 여러작업이 수반되는 결함이 있고, 최근에는 각 가정에 차량이 널리 보급됨에 따라 차량을 이용한 야외 나들이가 보편화 되므로서 차량을 이용하여 텐트를 설치할 수 있도록 많은 연구개발이 계속되어 차량의 도어를 이용하여 텐트를 설치할수 있도록 된것이 소개되고 있으나 완전한 텐트로서의 기능수행에는 많은 사용상의 문제점이 있었으므로, 최근에는 차량지붕을 이용하여 텐트를 설치 내지는 절첩이동토록 된것이 일본 공개실용신안공보 소61-192053호로 소개되고 있으나 구조적으로 복잡하여 사용상의 불편함이 있었다.As a conventional tent form, it can be seen that a general tent made of waterproof fabric and portable in the form of a bag is widely used.
