Abstract

Disclosed is a tent for car use, which is simply installed on a roof rack of a roof of a car, such as a wagon or a van, can easily adjust its height by controlling the amount of compressed air or hydraulic pressure using four multi-stage cylinders for raising a side wall and a roof of the tent, wherein the four cylinders serve as poles in a completely extended state thereof. A base member is simply mounted on a roof rack of-a roof of a car by bolt-fastening. A compressed air tank is mounted on a recess part formed on the base member, so that a portion of the base member projects to the inside and serves as a pillow. The compressed air tank is to supply compressed air. Multi-stage cylinders are respectively mounted at four corners of the base member for facilitating the upward and downward movement of a tent. Each multi-stage cylinder has an inner circular hole having an air inlet formed on the lower end thereof for raising the tent upwardly. First to fourth cylindrical rods are mounted inside the upper and lower portions of the cylinder, and restricted in lowering by projections formed on the upper end thereof. The third cylindrical rod has an air inlet formed on the upper portion thereof to adjust a height of the tent by controlling the amount of compressed air injected through the air inlet of the third cylindrical rod.
