Abstract

The microwave oven includes a cooking chamber (6) provided with a rotatable tray (2) for placing articles to be cooked. A rotation member (4) includes pairs of arms, each having a relatively longer length arm extending inone direction and a relatively shorter length arm extending in an opposite direction. For supporting the tray, relatively larger members are fixed rotatably to the relatively shorter arms and relatively smaller members rotatably fixed to the relatively longer arms. The rotation member is guided so that it is moved in slant along a predetermined path formed on the bottom of the cooking chamber. The incidence angles of microwaves to articles to be cooked can be varied according to the inclined angles of the tray during its rotation. The microwave oven provides equal dispersal of microwaves over foodstuffs on the rotatable tray.
