종래에는 1988년 실용신안 출원공고 제1579호로 공고되고 실제로 이용되고 있는 곡물건조장치가 있는데, 이는 건조실내에 120가마의 벼를 한가마씩 인위적으로 주입하여 충만시켜두면 약 일주일이상의 건조시간이 소요되며 중앙의 벼는 미처 건조가 완성되지 못할뿐만 아니라, 일주일이 지난후에 한가마씩 다시 벼를 퍼 담아야하는 번거로운 작업과정을 거쳐야 하였고, 특히 강제 송풍을 하는 구성으로 되여 있으나, 건조실 자체가 일종의 곡간과 같은 밀폐형태로 되어있기 때문에 쌓아둔 벼의 중앙부분까지 건조 송풍이 벼사이를 침투하여 통과하지 못하여 사실상 건조효과가 극히 저조하여 이론과 실제는 상당히 상치되였었고, 또 이보다 진보 개량된것으로서는 일본 실용신안공에 공고되여 알려져 있는 "곡물처리장치"가 있는데 이것의 기술적 구성 및 고안요지는 기류를 이용한 곡물처리장치의 곡물수납실 상부에 균형이 맞게 스크류를 가설한 소용적 수납실을 설치하고 일단이 소용적 수납실내에 곡물을 공급하여 균형이 맞게한후 이 소용적 수납실내의 곡물을 하측의 수납실내에 공급할 수 있도록 구성된 곡물처리 장치에 있어서, 수납실외에 소용적 수납실내에도 처리용 기류를 통과 되도록한것인바, 큰 곡물수납실외에도 상부의 작은 수납실에도 송풍되는 바람이 통과하게 형성한 것이 고안의 구성요지이나 이것은 사실상 이중의 구성장치와 비경제성이 있고 또한 수납실에 수납되어 쌓여진 곡물 내부로 송풍기류가 침투되어 건조를 완전하게 할 수 없다는 결정적인 문제점이 있었던것이다.Conventionally, there is a grain drying apparatus, which was announced in 1988 Utility Model Application Publication No. 1579 and is actually used, which takes about a week or more when it is filled by artificially injecting 120 kilns of rice into the drying chamber one by one.
