The present invention relates to a headrest for an automobile, and more particularly, to a front and rear movable headrest for moving the headrest to be in close contact or spaced apart from the head and neck of the driver or occupant.

In general, the headrest of the back seat of the car seat is provided with a headrest consisting of a shock absorbing pad to prevent injuries of the head and neck of the driver and the occupant in the event of a crash.

However, in the conventional headrest, the shock absorber pad is simply fixed to the upper back of the back of the support rod.
