Claims (10)

  1. (a)레이저, (b) 2.0내지 3.0미크론 사이의 파장, 50내지 2000미크론 범위의 빔 직경, 수 피코초 내지 수 밀리초 범위의 펄스 지속 시간 및 0.1내지 100밀리 주울의 에너지를 가지는 펄스 출력을 생성하도록 상기 레이저를 활성화시키는 수단, (c) 치아 에나멜, 치질 및(또는) 연질 조직을 제거시키기 위해 치아 에나멜, 치질 및(또는) 연질 조직에 상기 펄스를 전달하는 수단으로 되는 치아 에나멜, 치질 및(또는) 연질 조직을 제거시키는 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 레이저가 초 당 1내지 200펄스의 펄스 반복율을 가지는 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 레이저가 이트륨-알루미늄-석류석(YAG)레이저인 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 레이저가 홀뮴 용액 결정질 레이저(Holmium doped Crystal laser)인 장치.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 레이저가 에르뮴 용액 레이저인 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 레이저가 실제적으로 2.94미크론의 파장을 가지는 장치.
  7. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 레이저가 실제적으로 2.06미크론의 파장을 가지는 장치.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전달 수단이 상기 펄스를 광학 섬유실의 한쪽 말단에 집중시키는 수단으로 되는 장치.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 실의 다른 면에 인접하게 말단부분을 접촉시키는 것으로 되는 장치.
