Claims (7)
1db/cm보다 작은 손실을 가진 광학 방사를 전송할 수 있는 매개체와, 구경 ai의 N광학 소스 소자의 배치로부터 광학 방사를 상기 매개체내의 2차원 평면으로 주입시키기 위한 수단과, 상기 매개체로부터 전송된 광학 방사를 추출하기 위한 구경 ai'의 N추출 소자의 배치를 포함하는 N소스로부터 N'검출기까지의 광학 신호 동시 전송용 장치에 있어서, 상기의 장치는, 가) 방상의 소스가 실제로 광학 방사의 단일 모드 소스이고, 나)N소스의 배치가 실제로 L=∑a에 의해서 주어진 부분의 길이 (L), 굴곡부의 반경(R)과 함께 원형의 부분을 따라 위치되고, 다)N'검출기의 배치가 L'=∑a'에 의해서 주어진 부분의 길이(L'), 반경(R)인 원형의 부분을 따라 위치되고, 라)원형의 굴곡부 중심의 부분은 다른 배치를 한정하는 원형부분상의 각각의 배치의 구성을 결정하며, 마)상기 각각의 소자의 대칭축은 실제로 그러한 배치를 한정하는 부분의 원형의 굴곡부 중심으로 지향되고, 바)거리 (R)은 똑같이 구경된 소자에 대해 가장자리 추출 소자와 가장자리 소스 소자사이에서 전송을 최대로 하기 위해 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 신호 동시 전송용 장치.
제1항에 있어서, 도파관의 폭은 도파관 부분이 결합기 부분에 도달할 때 증가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 신호 동시 전송용 장치.
제1항의 장치를 포함하는 3차원 성형 결합기.
제1항에 있어서, 개별적 소자의 구경이 실제로 각각의 소자에 균등하게 전송되도록 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 신호 동시 전송용 장치.
제1항에 있어서, 2개의 원형부분 사이의 영역이 도핑된 실리카를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 신호 동시 전송용 장치.
제5항에 있어서, 소스 및 추출 소자가 도핑된 도파관 영역을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 신호 동시 전송용 장치.
제6항에 있어서, 광섬유는 홈이 파여진 영역의 수단에 의해서 도핑된 도파관 영역과 함께 정렬되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 신호 동시 전송용 장치.
