Abstract

The various tones necessary for a digital exchanger are converted to the PCM data, stored in a memory, and provided by the cadence control of a CPU. The circuit comprises an address counter (10) providing address signal, an address resetting circuit (20) clearing the counter, a memory (30) storing PCM tone source data, a decoder (40) providing clock pulse for latching the tone source, a latch (50) latching the tone data for certain time, a tone selector (60) choosing the desired tone, a cadence latch (70) allocating the knid of tone, a time slot allocator (80) providing time-slot signal, a parallel load generator (90) providing the timing and enable signals, and a parallel/serial converter (100).
